But if he really wants to extradite him, it would be a good place to start. And it might be that the man is after the right thing to do. It seems that the EU has been caught in a tricky situation with the new Greek government. They are worried that if Soros (and his organization) is arrested, it will hurt the EU’s efforts to get Greece out of the bailouts.

As I said, the team is in the dark about the new plan to extradite them. It seems to be a bit ambiguous to me, but it seems that the two sides are having their own discussions. But I would bet that the EU has been more concerned about the issue than the US. We just don’t want them to end up in court. This is a pretty bad idea.
