I recently did a quick google search and discovered this site. I was on here for a while and it helped me clear up a lot of confusion about what exactly is self-aware and what isn’t. I love how the site highlights common ways to think by differentiating between what is self-aware and what is not.
I have a new question for you: How many of you have heard of the term’self-awareness’ and how many of you have ever tried to use it and failed? Now, as you may be aware, there are a number of different levels of self-awareness. In many cases, it’s common for people to confuse the two. The first level is the “I am” level, which some of us may have heard about but don’t realize is self-aware.
Self-awareness is the ability to recognize our own thoughts, feelings, and behaviors as being, and being aware of these things. This is not about self-reference, but self-awareness of one’s own thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.
